MarkdownList exists to help people choose software, not to manufacture rankings for whoever pays most.
Useful before exhaustive
We prioritize tools with a clear purpose, an active product, and enough information for someone to make a decision.
Editorial rank is not for sale
Free and paid products are evaluated by the same criteria. Future sponsorships will be labelled and will not rewrite editorial recommendations.
Commercial links stay qualified
Any future paid placement or affiliate relationship will be disclosed and marked with the appropriate sponsored link attribute.
Corrections are welcome
Software changes quickly. Makers and users can submit corrections when platforms, pricing models, or capabilities change.

MarkdownList and mdedit.ai are operated by Mango App Studio. mdedit.ai is identified on its listing, receives no paid ranking advantage, and is evaluated using the same published criteria.
