MarkdownList exists to help people choose software, not to manufacture rankings for whoever pays most.
We prioritize tools with a clear purpose, an active product, and enough information for someone to make a decision.
Free and paid products are evaluated by the same criteria. Paid featured homepage slots are labelled Sponsored and never change editorial inclusion or directory rank.
Paid homepage placement is disclosed and its listing link is marked as sponsored. Any affiliate relationship will also be disclosed.
Software changes quickly. Makers and users can submit corrections when platforms, pricing models, or capabilities change.
We independently check listing details against the product, official documentation, or public source before publishing them. A maker's submission never becomes a feature claim by itself.
Editor profiles show only facts we have confirmed. If a feature is missing, we treat it as not verified rather than claiming the product cannot do it.
MarkdownList and mdedit.ai are operated by Mango App Studio. mdedit.ai is identified on its listing, receives no paid ranking advantage, and is evaluated using the same published criteria.
